The Toronto Star's resident separatist, Chantal Hebert, does her best today to paint a nice picture of Gilles Duceppe's intentions with respect to a fall election. She fails to sugar coat this lemon though.
The whole scenario of Duceppe and the Bloc rushing to an election in order to satisfy Mr. Duceppe's retirement planning is just too funny. Just think of the logic...an election is inevitable because Duceppe wants to get out of politics ASAP. No doubt so that he can begin collecting that big fat Government of Canada MP pension. Quite the political epitaph for the separatist leader!
Meanwhile...the Dion Liberals are re-tooling...

Yes, let us have an election, sooner the better.
The LIEberals are ready [so they say], the Cons atr ready [once they explain the IncomeTrust thing.], The Bloc is ready [he can't wait or his pension], the Greens are ready [to help the LIEberals win by not running against eachother in DeYawns ridding and no LIEberal in her ridding - sounds like a good deal to me.], the NDP are ready [after they aoplgise to the Afgan president for saying the Cons wrote his spech]- so lets have an election.
You are right on the pension thing - he may want to break up Canada, but he wants to go rich in Canadian dollars - while it is on par with the American dollar
So, let's go to the election as soon as possible
Clown Party of Canada:
My daughter, who's in Grade 4, thinks you're a complete asshole because you try to make people feel bad by telling lies about them, even making fun of their names, and you never see other
people's good sides. I told her we have to accept
that some people are uncouth and ill-mannered,
and it's because they're unhappy and haven't
ever done anything to be proud of.
Anonymous – who is ashamed to use his/her name:
Except of course when I tell children about LIEs – such as the LIEberal Red Book – in which they have broken promises. Therefore, the name LIEberals. Lies are common with this political party. I tell children that a LIEberal has broken a promise to demolish/change the GST [Grits Support Tories tax.] They never did anything – seems like DeYawn slogan – about it, until the Cons dropped it one cent and perhaps another cent in the next budget.
“…try to make people feel bad by telling lies about them” point out the lies, tell your daughter that some people can not stand the truth like the corrupt LIEberals – explain Ad-scam to her among other broken promises.
“…even making fun of their names” Tell her that as a politician, they can expect name calling. For example tell your daughter that the blog “HarpoBizarro” is an example of a name calling site. It is ok though; if you want your daughter not to see such names used to belittle other people then, you as a parent, should set the example and not visit such sites as “HarpoBizarro” – very bad influence upon her. Defiantly do not go to the LIEberal spokes-person Jason Cherniak on Politics – I have never seen such swearing on any blog - under: The grassroots will Win: at: http://jasoncherniak.blogspot.com/ - perhaps you should read it alone without your daughter, but do not feel bad or him though. It was his birthday and his political party is imploding in front of his eyes.
“ … you never see other people's good sides. “ Can you give the good sides of the LIEberals, - perhaps since you are probably a LIEberal – you would have to admit the scandal ridden party such as brought out by “brown envelope stuffed with money deposited into LIEberal coffers.” [Explain that one to your daughter.]
How about the Cons – did you point out the virtues of the present government to your daughter? I don’t think so. Also that the Cons do bad things, like the LIEberals, such as Income Trust – Just like the LIEberals and their GST promise.
The Bloc – whose whole purpose of being in Canada House of Parliament is to destroy Canada – only Quebec mattered to them. Mention that loyalty to the country is very important.
I suppose you instructed your daughter to listen closely to the NDP and their lack of respect for the military and the good the military are doing to enable little girls to attend school, at your daughter’s age. Because we are there they and other ppeople are happy that we are there. You can remind her that the LIEberals placed them there in the first place - how is that for a good deed by a LIEberal.
As for the Green party I did tell the truth when I said; “the Greens are ready to help the LIEberals win by not running against each other in DeYawn’s ridding and no LIEberal in her ridding - sounds like a good deal to me.” Now, what is wrong with that factual statement? Tell your daughter that some times political parties make deals in order to stay in power and this is a good deal for both parties.
“I told her we have to accept that some people are uncouth and ill-mannered, and it's because they're unhappy and haven't ever done anything to be proud of.” Good advice, I hope you follow it.
And most importabt: bring on the election! Unless you are afraid of one.
I seriously think you should see a psychiatrist or psychologist, Clown Party of Canada, if your sense of rationality doesn't see Clown Party of Canada
as an anonymus name as well. and your very prolix rebuttal is as asinine as your original post.
Get help.
Wow, pretentious utterances – endeavoring to demonstrate that you are academician? Any way, the rationalization that I prolix is to rejoinder your queries. Incontestably you do not like retaliation to your animadversions or people designative hypothesis germane of the LIEberal party.
Unquestionably you circumvente to understand the intent of this particular blog, is to comment on an election. You eschew the facts and do not see the need for an election because the Liberals are not organized. You appear to be an educated person that likes to use words that most people do not understand, - as if to make you feel superior to everybody - and someone who doesn’t like to have facts about the LIEberal Party exposed, in front of your daughter.
Hopefully the election will be announced and then you might be ready for a debate, rather than being magniloquent about how a person answers a question to your liking.
“… if your sense of rationality doesn't see Clown Party of Canada as an anonymous name as well.”
There is a heterogeneous; at least I identify myself, unlike an anonymous person who can be anybody. You might even be DeYawn or Martin, Jason Cherniak etc... or Justin Trudeau. You have no identity, therefore your words mean nothing; you are like someone who is ashamed that people might find out who you are. If I went under the name of “Anonymous” it still would not change the fact that the LIEberals are ready for an election.
[I can use the same vocabulary as you, but I find it easier to use simple words so that a LIEberal can understand, and if a LIEberal can understand simple English, so can a child.]
As I said before, bring on the election – everybody is ready.
Clown Party of Canada, you're becoming incoherent. Take a couple of deep breaths and get over it.
Clown Party of Canada
Wow. Anonymous never commented once on the election. What does she/he think about the election, which this blog asked? He/she was only looking for an argument on anything but the election, and hope that now he/she is finished his/her babbling.
As for the election, I think the Liberals do not want an election because their leader is no where to be seen and so far has not even one promise that is worthy of voting for. I understand that they are not organized and broke, just looking at their Quebec Liberal web-site shows that it was not current during the by-election. They still have to overcome the negative image of the past thirteen years of power. You are right on the GST and people will remember that broken promise, just as the Income Trust will haunt the Conservatives in the years to come. [Which by the way you correctly pointed out, will effect the election, probably during the budget time.]
No one knows what Gilles Duceppe will do for sure. Their main point of existence is to break up Canada – as you eloquently pointed out – and if he has to call an election on the Throne Speech, and sees a chance to win what he can, he will not support the Conservatives forcing an election. You also have to remember that the NDP are anxious to call an election because of the Quebec victories and their hope to become the official opposition. This will mean that the Liberals will not only be fighting the Conservatives but the NDP, now that the NDP can take many Liberal votes with them.
NOTE: It is spelled Dion and Liberal: - but I like your spelling - you get many Liberals angry with you when you use that spelling. You have to remember that Liberals never see humor when it is pointed at them. They are weak in that area, which is why they consider a joke about their leader personally.
This is the problem with LIEberals; they can dish it out but can’t take it just as a bully, one of many Harper Bizarro’s favorite word. LIEberals continually use the “fear of the Cons” attitude. DeYawn had promised not to use negative campaigning during the next election, but are still doing it. That will be a hard promise to keep – but they aer LIEberals, what’s a promise to them. They love the “hidden agenda” angle, yet as of the present they have not proposed one policy – except that he will place the Western farmers back under the dictatorship of the Canadian Whet board – worthy of my vote. Mr. I “didn’t get it done” will treat any important policy as he did the Kyoto accord – by doing nothing to cut emissions by fighting pollution.
As for the election, I still think they will join the Bloc and NDP to call an election. This way they will have an excuse to hold a leadership convention. DeYawn said he will parachute his candidate of choice into some ridings and has a quota of women in the next election. This circumvents the grass roots in those ridings – just look what happened in Quebec’s secure seat – they lost.
LIEberals will have to fight on two fronts, the NDP and Cons and in Quebec the separates’ – and being broke with no policies as of yet how can they win? They will have to end up like the “old” Conservative Party – two seats. This made them realize that they had to get back to the grass roots – which the Alliance stole from them and wasn’t united until Belinda and Harper united them. {NOTE: if there ever was a secrete agenda surely Belinda would have told Canadian when she was bribed to cross the floor. If it wasn’t for her there would be no Conservative party in power.} If this happens then the LIEberals will have to all vote to support the Throne speech. It is going to be an interesting day. LIEberals don't know how to do things unless te are in power and in control of tax payers money.
